Where Are the San Juan Islands?
The San Juan Islands are located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, in the state of Washington. They are situated in the Salish Sea, between the mainland of Washington and Vancouver Island, Canada.

How to Reach San Juan Islands?
You can easily reach the San Juan Islands. The four main islands; San Juan Island, Orcas Island, Lopez Island, and Shaw Island are accessible by ferry. You can book a ferry from the website Washington State Department of Transportation.
These ferries depart from Anacortes which is a small town on the mainland and will take you to Friday Harbor (the main town of San Juan Island). The ferry ride takes about an hour, and it’s a beautiful journey through the waters of the Salish Sea.
If you’re coming from Seattle, you can drive about 80 miles north (around 1.5 to 2 hours).
You can also reach by plane. Regional airlines like Kenmore Air and San Juan Airlines offer flights from Seattle and other nearby locations directly to the islands. These flights take about 45 minutes. I recommend you Kenmore Air due to its high customer satisfaction.
And if you are looking for more private transport then you can also get there by private charter and water taxi.
